Course Prerequisites

Students taking this course should be familiar with personal computers and the use of a
keyboard and a mouse. Furthermore, this course assumes that students have completed
the following courses or have equivalent experience:
• Windows 11

Target student
Students taking this course should have some experience using Windows 11. These
students want to learn more than just the basic features of Windows 10. They want to
learn how to configure the operating system as an advanced or power user.

Course objectives

After completing this 1-day course, students will know how to:
Use the Control Panel
Manage folder and file settings
Monitor apps and system performance with Task Manager
Update Windows
Manage devices, printers, and disks
Connect to networks
Share resources
Connect to remote systems
Recognise common security threats, secure their systems and browser, and to use troubleshooting and restore tools.
