Course Prerequisites
Students taking this course
should be familiar with personal computers and the use
of a
keyboard and a mouse.
Target student
This course is designed for
students who have a working knowledge of Windows XP or
later. The typical student already uses Windows at home
or at work and wants to learn
to use Windows 8.
After completing this 1-day course, students will know how to:
Navigate the Windows 8 interface
Use the
Charms bar and search tools
Install and use apps
Use Internet Explorer 10
Learn to manage power
options
Browse folders
Configure user accounts,
and use system security tools.
Finally, students
will learn to work with tiles and customise PC settings.
